So here are the official pictures of the spare room. You previously saw the unofficial ones here and here. I wish I could give you a good picture of the curtains. They really make the whole room. The pattern, of course, not the style (or lack of style). I barely know how to sew, so this was best I was willing to do. The fabric looks vintage, but I actually bought it about 5 years ago from the bargain bin at Hancock Fabrics. These curtains are the reason I painted this room Home Depot orange, just in case you were wondering.
My dad made the headboard for me several years ago, which coordinates with the changing table/dresser in Jane’s room. The square thing-y in the middle was some ugly piece of metal wall art that I got a Family Dollar. It’s amazing how a couple of coats of white spray paint can salvage just about anything, including my lovely Homeco sconces that I found on etsy:

The shelves and green boxes came from Ikea. The A Z bookends belonged to my Gma C.
Here’s where that clock landed. It needs some friends, like a shelf and something else big. I’m not really sure what to do with this wall yet, but I really wanted the clock up and that looked like as good a place as any.
And here’s a picture of my photography assistant. She pretty much assists me with everything I do.
This table is another piece my dad made me years ago. It was silver in a previous life. I don’t have a good reason why. The chair came from Big Lots, and the mirror was something I had custom made because my friend Lizard had an old school one back in high school, and I always wanted one like it. The picture frame was a recent score from TJ Maxx, in which I plan to display a picture of my photography assistant:

I still need to make some toss pillows for the bed which will add some much needed green to this view. Oh, and the bedspread came from Target. I paid too much for it, but it’s exactly what I wanted and it’s good quality.

i love the colour of that room!!!!
Thanks! I thought my husband was going to have a stroke when I chose that color.
I’ve made some changes in there that I will post soon!
