Here is where the little lady of the house stays. I discussed her curtains in a previous post. I also previously mentioned the red chair, yellow chair, and bedding here and here. The crib is convertible, so she’ll be using it for many years to come.
I designed the posters above her crib. I eventually want to replace the crappy frames with something nicer that doesn’t reflect so badly.
Her table is something I had my dad whip up for me. The red plastic chairs are from Dollar General. Do you know how hard it is to find a kiddie chair that is affordable and doesn’t have Dora the freakin’ Explorer or the Disney princesses on it??!! Geez.
This white and red cabinet just recently made its home in here. It is a combination of two different pieces my dad had made over the years. The top part is half of a bookcase, and I think he made the bottom chest of drawers for my sister Steph. We previously used it as a room divider in the kitchen area of the basement at Mom and Dad’s (where we lived for 4 1/2 years…). It needed a fresh coat of paint, which is why it took so long to come join us in the new house.
The Jane shelf was a gift we received when she was born. The dresser/changing table was a piece that Dad made me several years ago.
