Ah, I needed that. I was officially off work for 12 days, and I enjoyed every bit of it. Here’s some of what I’ve been up to:
a new addition to my calendar
a new greeting card
It felt good to sit down and create some new artwork. It unfortunately got put on the back burner for awhile when I was busy creating this blog and my etsy shop (I’m proud to announce that I finally got my first non-family sale; thanks Nicole from CA!). It is my new year’s resolution to find a balance between all of these things and to give myself realistic expectations of how much I can accomplish considering I still have a full-time not-art-related job.
I’d like to also like to thank two more wonderful ladies who featured me on their blogs this month:
Donna from Design Start
Biba from Inspiration Bubble
In the coming month I will be sharing with you tidbits from my recent walk down memory lane. I have officially discovered why I heart retro so much. I may not have any memories of the seventies (I was born at the end of 1977), but the pop culture influences definitely spilled over into the early eighties.
Happy New Year, everyone! May the ‘niner’ be your best year yet!
